Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) blends Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy & Mindfulness techniques, offering a powerful framework for managing emotions, fostering healthier relationships, and crafting a fulfilling life.

Our group is focused on learning the skills associated with DBT -
Emotional Regulation,
Mindfulness,
Distress Tolerance and
Interpersonal Effectiveness
Learning these skills is a great way to supplement your individual therapy or to improve your quality of life. These skills also assist to make decisions in a mindful and considered way, rather than acting on auto-pilot or being subject to emotional reasoning.
The group format enables people to seek validation and support in a non-judgemental and affirming environment. We don’t ask you to share your personal history, just to listen, learn and contribute to discussions as you wish.

Adults experiencing intense or rapidly changing emotions
People who feel overwhelmed by stress or struggle to cope in healthy ways
Those with chronic anxiety or low mood
Adults with ADHD who want practical tools for focus and emotional regulation
People who have relationship difficulties or find communication challenging
Individuals recovering from trauma who want to build stability and coping skills
Anyone wanting structured, evidence-based skills to improve wellbeing or supplement their individual therapy.
The Details:
Dates: 6 weeks
February intake
July intake
October intake
Commitment: 1.5 hours per session
Group size: 5-8 people
Cost: $750 for the entire program (You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $34.40 per session)
Great News!! Medicare rebates for group sessions can be accessed IN ADDITION to rebates for individual therapy, giving you greater access to psychological support.
