We are based in Spotswood, just a short walk from Spotswood Train Station and a short drive from Melbourne CBD.
Our Story
Mind in Mind Psychology was founded by Dr Jennifer Menon, a Clinical Psychologist, mother of two, and survivor of domestic violence and Stage 3 breast cancer. Jennifer’s experiences navigating trauma, illness, and systemic barriers inspired her to create a practice that prioritises safety, accessibility, and dignity for all clients. Raised in a multicultural family, she developed a deep understanding of identity and cultural nuance, which continues to shape the inclusive, client-centred approach of the practice.
Since founding the practice in 2020, Mind in Mind Psychology has grown from a single clinician into a large team of psychologists, now offering support to children, adults, and families. The practice is built on values of Collaboration, Empowerment, Authenticity, and Integrity, and focuses on removing barriers to care through sensory-informed environments, flexible service delivery, school support, and community education.
Jennifer’s vision is to ensure that mental health support is not just available, but meaningful, welcoming, and effective. Every aspect of the practice is designed to help clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
